Lâng chi̍t-sì-lâng, put-sî tī seⁿ-sí ê koan-mn̂g teh chhut-ji̍p. Kan-ta chit chi̍t nn̄g goe̍h-ji̍t ê tiong-kan, goá pún-sin í-keng ū tú-tio̍h saⁿ-kiāⁿ song-sū ê siau-sit. Tī 2 goe̍h 15 ji̍t, hó pêng-iú N̂g Sū-bēng Bo̍k-su, ū sit-lo̍h chi̍t-ê chhut-sì 11 goe̍h-ji̍t ê sè-kiáⁿ. Koh bô kuí ji̍t, goá ū chiap-tio̍h Bí-kok chi̍t-ê pêng-iú ê siau-sit; in iā sī sit-lo̍h in chi̍t ê chhut-sì 6 hoè ê kiáⁿ-jî. Chit-ê pêng-iú miâ kiò-chò Walter A. Taylor, bat chò koè 7 nî kú ê soan-kàu-su, tī Lâm-kiaⁿ Kim-lêng Toā-o̍h chò kàu-siū. āu-lâi ū tńg-khì Bí-kok Ko-lûn-pí-a Toā-o̍h koh teh gián-kiù. It is not meet for us to judge God's way.
And if he calls a child it is because He needs him.
Some live long and never learn.
Some are called early, because they have finished their training.
There is work to do beyond the sky, work that the Architect of Space wants done by children.

In-uī án-ni, I chiah tiàu gín-ná khah chá tńg-khì; ài hō͘ in pī-pān lâi ha̍h hit ê khah ko-siōng ê kang-tiâⁿ.
Tē saⁿ hāng ê pháiⁿ siau-sit, chiū-sī Tâi-oân ū sit-lo̍h Bān Ko͘-niû. Lūn Bān Ko͘-niû ê it-seng, si̍t-chāi sī tuì thâu kàu boé, chin-chiàⁿ ū thé-thiap Ki-tok ê sim ê lâng. I ê kang ū chhiau-oa̍t chit-gia̍p-tek ê cheng-sîn. I ê só͘ chò, chiū-sī tú-tú "tò-chhiú bô hō͘ chiàⁿ-chhiú chai." I m̄-nā sī hó-gia̍h lâng ê pêng-iú, iā sī sòng-hiong lâng ê pêng-iú. I m̄-nā sī kàu-hoē lâng ê pêng-iú, iā sī sè-sio̍k lâng ê pêng-iú, ài ín-chhoā in lâi chiū-kīn tō-lí. I m̄-nā sī hū-jîn-lâng ê pêng-iú, iā sī lâm-chú chheng-liân lâng ê pêng-iú. Goá iáu tī Tâi-pak ê sî, i bat siá phoe hō͘ goá, kóng i chin tì-ì tī chiah ê Tâi-oân chheng-liân ê sū, ài goá tio̍h koh-khah chhut-la̍t kó͘-bú. Goá khoàⁿ i ê phoe, sim chin siū kám-kek. Khó-sioh kàu i koè-sin ê ji̍t, goá chi̍t-ji̍t koè chi̍t-ji̍t, iáu-boē ū chú-chhiòng sím-mi̍h kū-thé-tek ê chheng-liân thoân-tō ê sū-gia̍p lâi an-uì i. Si̍t-chāi goá khoàⁿ i koè-óng ê bīn kap i saⁿ-sî ê sî, goá ê sim chin kan-khó͘, iā chin kiàn-siàu. Chóng-sī i ê oē iáu tī goá ê hī-khang-piⁿ.
Taⁿ Bān Ko͘-niû í-keng ū oân-choân hiàn i ê jio̍k-thé kap cheng-sîn tī Tâi-oân ê Hái-tó. I ê thiàⁿ Tâi-oân m̄-sī tuì giân-gú, sī tuì hêng-uî. Goá tuì i ū khoàⁿ-kìⁿ Tâi-oân Sim-lêng-kài khai-thok-chiá ê chin cheng-sîn. Goá toā ǹg-bāng chit lia̍p be̍h ka-la̍uh tī tē-ni̍h bē hoà-khì : ē puh-íⁿ, toā-châng, khui-hoe, kiat-chí, lâi kè-sio̍k i ê oa̍h-miā.
